The slice-of-life comedy-drama was all set to hit
theatres on December 1. However, the makers have now decided to release the
film a week in advance i.e on November 24. Reason? A clear slot.
Says a source, “Tumhari Sulu was releasing alongside
Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor starrer 102 Not Out. Also, there is buzz that
Padmavati featuring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor might
also hit theatres on the same day. Team Tumhari Sulu figured that November 24 is
a clear weekend and decided to go ahead with it.”

Adds the source, “In today’s times, no one wants to clash
because it only means that the business gets divided. Hence, in this case,
better sense prevailed and the makers of Vidya Balan’s Tumhari Sulu are now
releasing the film on November 24. Needless to say, this decision will help
both 102 Not Out and Padmavati too.”
To talk of Tumhari Sulu, the makers dropped the teaser of
the project a few days ago and it is sure to bring a smile to your face.
Vidya Balan Plays A RJ In Tumhari Sulu
The film revolves around Sulochana aka Sulu, who is a
beautiful, enthusiastic and happy-go-lucky Mumbai housewife. Her life changes
when she unexpectedly lands herself with the exciting job of a night RJ on a
leading radio station.
Along with Vidya Balan, the film stars ace theatre actor
Manav Kaul as the actress’ husband, Neha Dhupia as Vidya's Boss, and renowned
RJ, Malishka, as Albeli Anjali.
Tumhari Sulu has been directed by noted ad-filmmaker
Suresh Triveni and produced under the banners of T-Series and Ellipsis
Entertainment.
